As the story unfolds, Samar's past is revealed, and it is discovered that he had a tragic accident that killed his girlfriend, Aisha (played by Anushka Sharma). Samar was devastated by her death and has been living life on the edge ever since. Naina, who is unaware of Samar's past, tries to bring him out of his shell and help him move on.
